Gain insight into why we started
What drives us and the principles we ground ourselves in.
Origins
Aragard Partners was founded by Karl Spencer and Peter Walmsley. Karl & Peter first connected as part of a mastermind group focused on personal development aimed at developing the character needed to rise to challenges, overcome setbacks and thrive over the long term. 6 years later we reconnected having grown from our own entrepreneurial journeys and after putting our heads together with the same optimism and ambition as before, came together to solve a new problem and Aragard Partners was born.
Since then, and in line with our ambitions, we continue to go from strength to strength facilitating an increasing number of introductions that have led to profitable deals, supporting a growing variety of clients in generating wealth and positive growth.

Why we’re here
We are here to build strong relationships with people that unlock capital and enable new ventures and development so that, together, we can all generate wealth and positive growth.
Our Just Cause:
We envision a world where every new venture has a reliable platform to access global capital sources such as forward funding with minimal barriers and frictions, allowing the entrepreneurial spirit to continually thrive.
We believe the key to building this world lies in developing competence, resourcefulness, and the courage to face the truth exactly as it is, without embellishment or understatement.

Our Values
Principle #1
Be Ambitious and Aim Up
“It does not matter who you were or who you are today, it only matters who you want to become and what you are willing to sacrifice to get there.”
Too often people are afraid to speak out their ambition, thinking it is too outrageous and may be laughed at. We aim to create a supportive and empowered environment to allow individuals to strive for their grandest goals.
Principle #2
Welcome Diverse Perspectives
“Be open to hearing the truth, to hearing varying opinions and to changing your current beliefs and values. Your current beliefs and values may be holding you back, hence, be flexible, adaptable and transparent in mindset.”
We all have the remarkable ability to connect with people – empathy. We consciously aim to develop this skill by willingly putting our ego aside and reminding ourselves that people will have a different perspective of the world, one which will provide new vital insights into our business and lives. Through this process, we can overcome our negative traits and come together to overcome greater challenges and achieve grander goals.
Principle #3
Take Initiative…Do Not Fear Mistakes
“Aim for success, then take initiative and act with intention. Do not be afraid of making mistakes in the process, they are an opportunity to learn and grow..”
Having the courage to do something novel, new and unknown takes courage as failure is scary and a real possibility, however, we must be willing to embrace this process to ensure we constantly innovate and adapt as a business. Remember failure is temporary, learn from it and move on quickly.
Principle #4
Embrace Change
“Personally summon the courage to continually seek the truth, and to speak it. To willfully expose even the smallest lies you are acting out, telling yourself, and consciously ignoring.”
Our goals as a business are made from incomplete information, hence, they will need to adapt and change overtime to correct for errors in our thinking and to provide the optimum service to the world. Reminding ourselves to seek and speak the truth is the surest way for the individuals within the company to continually cultivate their characters, consequently, for the business to have the strength to adapt to changing circumstances and to avoid the alternatives of certainty and willful blindness.
